Sunil holds public grievance redressal camp

KISHTWAR, Oct 29: Minister of State for PWD (R&B), Revenue Sunil Kumar Sharma today toured Zewar village of District Kishtwar and held a public grievance camp there.
While holding a series of interactions with the people of the village, the Minister was apprised of various demands of people including unscheduled power cuts, irregular   water supply to the area, macdamization of roads and improvement in conditions of streets and drains.
On the issue of power cuts, he informed the gathering that XEn PDD has been already directed to notify a schedule of power curtailment and except any technical fault he has been directed to ensure the uninterrupted power supply to Kishtwar, especially during upcoming winter seasons.
He said problem of irregular water supply will be addressed as many centre and state sponsored schemes are being implemented in Pochall and surrounding area besides Naigad gravity scheme will be a reality soon.
He also announced that the macadamization work on certain roads is ongoing   and the tenders for the rest have been invited and work will be started very soon on them also.
