JAMMU, July 11: Ace Speedball player and coach, Sunny Nanda from Jammu and Kashmir will be leading the J&K team for 9th International Speedball Club Championship to be held in New Delhi from July 13 to July 16, 2017.
22 players from J&K will participate in this Club Championship.
The team has been divided into junior and senior wing. The junior wing players are Bhumika Gupta, Nakul Gupta, Janvi Sharma, Prakesh, Ajay Singh, Shivam Tickoo, Pranay Gupta, Adeev Kundal, Sidharth Mahajan, Aryman Sharma, Amritansh Raina, Aryan Kangotra and Suryansh. while the senior wing players include Sahil Jajnua, Aditya Aithmia, Gurmanjeet Singh, Rahul Meenia, Kulbushan Sharma, Amit Kour, Sonika Gupta, Mansi Slathia, Tasleema Jaan and Manpreet Kour.
In this Championship the players who win gold medals will be selected for 29th World Speedball Championship to be held at Egypt in the month of October.
