JAMMU, Apr 25: A Super Specialty Medical Camp was organized by BSF at Frontier HQ Border Security Force, Paloura near here today. The Medical camp was organized under the directions of D K Upadhyaya, Inspector General -BSF Jammu Frontier.
Medical camp was inaugurated by Ram Awtar DIG/PSO Frontier Jammu. Dr K S Kumar. Commandant (Medical) organized the Camp and gave welcome address. Ram Awtar, DIG/PSO emphasized that to prevent the incidences of cardiovascular diseases one has to change the life style and take precautions as advised by the doctors. He said that cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death globally.
Dr Ujwal Mehrotra, Cardiologist of Mata Vaishno Devi, Narayana Hospital Katra briefed BSF personnel about cardiovascular diseases, risk factors and preventive measures. He advised the BSF personnel to avoid cardiovascular diseases by taking preventive measures rather than taking treatment.
