SRINAGAR, June 10:   The Pradesh Congress Committee today  cautioned the people by stating that any form of support to Mehbooba Mufti tantamount to direct support to Mohan Bagwat, Amit Shah and their RSS ideology.
The Party has also blamed Coalition Govt for using official machinery in order to ensure the victory of  Mehbooba Mufti in these by- elections.
Addressing various public meetings in Anantnag,  PCC chief GA Mir has said that Mehbooba Mufti is the joint candidate of BJP, RSS and PDP and support to Mehbooba Mufti will be the direct support to Mohan Bagwat and Amit Shah. He urged upon the people of Anantnag to defeat the designs of PDP- BJP Coalition, which is making serious efforts to hoodwink the people again like they did in 2014 elections. People should not forget how PDP back stabbed them in the name of keeping RSS and BJP away, he said.
PCC president said that serous efforts are being made by PDP- BJP Coalition  to influence the voters in order to ensure the victory of their joint candidate Mehbooba Mufti. He  reminded the people of Anantnag about the 2014 Elections in which the same PDP secured votes on the pretext of keeping BJP out of Power.
He said people are aware about what PDP has done after securing votes and urged upon the people not to get influenced by the false promises and tall claims of PDP. He said there is nothing common between the PDP and BJP except the share in power and both coalition partners are supporting each other to remain in power.
Speaking on the occasion former Minister and senior Congress leader Taj Mohi-ud- Din appealed the people of Anantnag to strengthen the secular force Congress as the vote for Congress candidate is the vote to secularism and unity.  He said Congress Party believes in unity and togetherness and warned that vote for Mehbooba Mufti would strengthen the communal forces in the State. He said people should not forget the 2014 elections, in which both PDP and BJP secured votes in order to keep each other out of power.
