Supriya of Jammu crowned 2nd Runner Up in Miss India Diva 2018

JAMMU, Sept 12: Supriya Sharma from Jammu was crowned the 2nd Runner up in the glittering Miss Indian Diva 2018, an All India level Beauty Pageant held at New Delhi.
She entered the contest through a wild card entry on the basis of her being the youngest Indian to have won the 2018 NPC Eastern Seaboard Fitness Championship at Atlanta, USA recently.
Supriya is presently a research scholar at the Centre for East Asian Studies at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and is pursuing her research on Foreign Policy of China. Supriya, also a passionate Sports person, completed her 12th from the St Mary’s Presentation Convent, Jammu and thereafter joined the Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi to complete her Bachelors and went onto pursue her Masters at the Nelson Mandela Centre for Conflict Resolution and Peace Building at the Jamia Millia Islamia University.
Having worked as an intern in the Embassy of Mexico, The Institute of Defence Studies Analysis and the Observer Research Foundation, Supriya is an all rounder and a topper in her academics. Fitness freak Supriya, when contacted, said that she was happy to be the Runner up at Miss Indian Diva 2018 in her very first try at a beauty Pageant. She said she believed that academics, Sports and Co-curricular activities should go hand in hand and one should never turn their back from what they are passionate about. She also runs her own fitness programs through social media and trains people through her online fitness training program around the world and can be contacted on instagram @itssupriya. Her parents are teachers and her father Professor Keshav Sharma teaches at the University of Jammu.
