JAMMU, May 5: Various political parties, trade and social organizations have strongly condemned the attack on the Indian Air Force (IAF) at Bakrabal Mohalla near Sanai in Surankote yesterday.
Senior BJP leader and member of Parliament, (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana while condemning the attack on IAF in Surankote in which one warrior was martyred and five others were injured said the terror attack is the outcome of frustration among the militants ranks who are facing the heat of Modi Government and are getting continuously eliminated as present Government has given free hand to army and security forces.
Congress has also expressed deep concern over steep rise of terrorists incidents in Jammu region especially Rajouri and Poonch where series of attacks have taken place on the Air Forces in recent past causing loss of several precious lives.
Strongly condemning the terrorist attack on IAF vehicle in Surankote, Poonch and expressing grave concern over the repeated attacks on Air Forces leading to several casualties of Jawans and officers, senior party leaders sought swift, calculated and equal measures of response to the grim situation to check the terrorist movement from further spreading.
JKPCC chief, Vikar Rasool Wani, working president, Raman Bhalla, senior vice president and chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma and former Chairman Legislative Council, Jahangir Mir have expressed grave concern over the escalated attacks by terrorists on security forces in the recent past in various parts especially in Rajouri and Poonch districts resulting in huge loss of several precious lives of Jawans and officers as well as innocent civilians.
Gaurav Gupta former general secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry also strongly denounced the cowardly terrorist attack on the convoy of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Surankote yesterday. He unequivocally labeled this terrorist attack as a despicable act of violence originated from Pakistan. He said this incident marks the third attack in the Jammu region in less than a fortnight, reflecting a disturbing escalation in terrorist activities.
Mission Statehood president, Sunil Dimple while strongly condemning the attack on IAF yesterday urged the Prime Minister to launch surgical strike on Pakistan. He led a anti Pakistan demonstration here, today in which the irate protestors torched the flags of Pakistan, effigies of ISIS, terrorist masterminds, Hafiz Sayeed, Azhar Masood, Lashkar etc for operating terror modules against India.
Kashmir Pandit Conference (KPC) chief, Kundan Kashmiri has also strongly condemned the terror attack on IAF in Surankote -Poonch yesterday and said that this shows the terrorists are still active in UT of J&K and Government needs to take harsh steps in eliminating them from the soil of J&K. He also demanded action against Pakistan as well as its agents in J&K.
