JAMMU, Mar 11: Sure Diagnostic Laboratory located at Rail Head Complex, Bahu Plaza has got recognition of National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), a Constituent Board of Quality Council of India.
All laboratory investigations are done under one roof with home collection facility in Sure Diagnostic Lab, which is a venture of Dr Mengi’s Dental Centre. The lab is situated behind Reserve Bank of India in Bahu Plaza area of Jammu.
Speaking on this achievement, Dr Sumedha Mengi, Director cum Chief Pathologist (MBBS, DCP, PGDHM, Fellow PGI Chandigarh) of the Lab said that NABL M(EL)T is a benchmark in laboratory testing which authenticates the accuracy and reliability of reports and Sure Diagnostic Lab is now NABL-M(EL)T recognized.
She said that as only one percent labs in the country are NABL certified, it is a big achievement for Sure Diagnostic Lab. With NABL recognition, she said, the reports of the laboratory will be now universally acceptable like all other National laboratories.
Dr Mengi said that she herself ensures quality of reporting in the lab by her physical presence and authenticates each report, besides giving opportunity to patients by discussing their reports.
