JAMMU, Sept 25: Suresh Kumar, a research scholar of Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Jammu, presented his research paper entitled “Dharma-Dhamma in Social and Ethical Sense with Special Reference to Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Dhammapada”, during an International Conference on Dharma-Dhamma held at Bhopal, recently.
The conference was jointly organized by Centre for Study of Religion and Society, India Foundation, New Delhi, Mahabodhi Society, Srilanka, and Department of Culture, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
A total of 80 selected research papers were presented by the learned scholars from 22 different countries.
In his presentation, Suresh asserting the relevance of Dharma (Hinduism) and Dhamma (Buddhism) said that both these religions give us practical lessons to regulate our daily life and conduct.
