MENDHAR, Dec 25: Tehsildar Rahul Basotra, along with SDPO Mendhar, TSO, and Food Inspector, conducted a surprise inspection in the markets of Mendhar, Poonch district. During the operation, encroachments by shopkeepers were removed, and strict instructions were issued to maintain the quality of food items.
The Tehsildar stated that shopkeepers had placed goods outside their shops, creating chaos and traffic congestion, causing inconvenience to the public. He warned that strict action would be taken against violators if they failed to clear the goods immediately.
Fines were imposed on encroachers during the inspection. The Tehsildar emphasized that the administration would continue monitoring to maintain order in the market.
