Surya Vihar faces water crisis, dilapidated roads

JAMMU, Dec 18: The people of Surya Vihar, Patta Bohri here are facing acute shortage of drinking water supply.
“There is no adequate water supply in our area for the past many days and it has become very difficult for us to carry out our day-to-day works,” the residents of the area said.
The residents also met PHE officials at the concerned Pump Station and came to know that the daily wagers posted in the area were on strike that’s why the water supply to the area has been disrupted.
The resident also stated that their road stretching from Bohri Chowk to Anand Nagar has totally been dilapidated and needs immediate repair.
They appealed to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik to direct the authorities concerned to look into the matter.
