AKHNOOR, Dec 16: Security forces have arrested a suspicious person on Akhnoor-Poonch highway (144A) in the town, after which priority investigation has been started on all the facts.
According to the reports on Monday, an army patrol arrested a suspect when he was seen roaming on Akhnoor-Poonch road under mysterious circumstances. After interrogation, the army handed over the person to the Chowki Choura police. The person was identified as Mujrad Rehman, resident of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
He works as a labourer in KB Company, which is building a tunnel on Akhnoor-Poonch National Highway. Investigation was done on his mobile phone, in which he was in contact with a Pakistani citizen playing Ludo game. The police has started investigation.
