SRINAGAR:
A suspected militant was today killed in an encounter with security forces in forests of Tral area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Army personnel launched a search operation in Kamla Top forest area near Buchoo village of Tral following information about presence of militants in the area, army officials said.
They said one militant was killed in a brief encounter and two assault rifles and two magazines were recovered from his possession.
The identity of the suspected militant is yet to be established. (AGENCIES)
