CHANDIGARH: A suspected spy, who was working as a labourer at Mamoon Cantonment in Pathankot, has been arrested by Punjab police.
The suspect has been identified as Irshad Ahmed (30), resident of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, a senior police official said today.
A smart phone has also been recovered from his possession containing pictures of vital installations and sensitive equipment in the cantonment area, police said.
He has been booked under the Official Secrets Act and a case has been registered at Shahpur Kandi in Pathankot, the official said. (AGENCIES)
