BANGALORE, Sep 26: A man suspected of being involved in terrorist activities was apprehended by the Bangalore CCB police on Thursday.
The Bangalore CCB Joint Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil confirmed the arrest and but did not reveal further details. He said the arrest was made on the basis of a tip-off and the police is interrogating the suspect.”
Police sources said the arrested persons has been identified as Jalaluddin, who is in his early 30s. Jalaluddin was nabbed after he had come by bus from Hospet in Bellary district.
The police are trying to ascertain the terror outfit he is associated with.
In recent times, there have been debates as to whether terrorist outfits are shifting their bases down south. Bangalore has been one of the cities that has been subjected to terror attacks. (UNI)
