JAMMU, Sept 2: State Vigilance Commission today reviewed progress on various FIRs, Preliminary Enquiries and Verifications by the Vigilance Organization.
The Commission in a meeting held under the chairmanship of CVC Kuldeep Khoda reviewed the progress of on cases especially pertaining to Revenue, CAPD and Works Department besides MGNREGA scheme pending with various branches of Vigilance Organization.
It was emphasized by the Commission to speed up the process so that the cases are concluded in the required time frame. It was intimated by the Director Vigilance Organization that the cases are at different stages of investigation and in most of the cases the FSL reports are awaited and as soon as these reports are received further action will be taken.
He also apprised the Commission about the progress in various cases regarding the alleged irregularities committed in transfer of land under the Roshni Scheme. It was informed that in some cases of Roshni Scheme pending in the Vigilance Organization, the relevant records are being sought from different quarters and after scrutiny of the same, further course of action would be chalked out.
The meeting was also attended by Vigilance Commissioner, Ghous-ul-Nisa Jeelani, Director Vigilance Organization, Inspector General Vigilance Organization, DIG Vigilance Organization, Secretary SVC, Additional Secretary SVC, Deputy Director Prosecution VOJK, CPO SVC and various Supervisory Officers of the Vigilance Organization.
