SVIPE Children’s Club celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Feb 24: Week-long activities were organised which included Quiz Competition, Easy Writing and Rangoli Competition in the school premises followed by a cultural dance and song show marking Annual Day of SVIPE Children’s Club at Abhinav Theatre, here.
Ram Prakash Sharma, Principal Central Basic Higher Secondary School Purani Mandi was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sunita Koul, Corporator Ward No 4 Link Road Jammu was the guest of honour.
The program started by lighting of the lamp to seek the blessings of Saraswati Mata.
A variety of items depicting India’s Unity in Diversity, Comedy etc were presented by the students on the occasion.
The chief guest in his address highlighted that Swami Vivekananda teachings should be imparted to the students which will inculcate spiritual and moral values in them.
He spoke about various means to impart education.
The guest of honour in her address described the education system in the country and how it should be implemented for the growth of the child.
The Principal of the school Indu Jamwal presented the report card of the school and described in detail the achievements made by the students.
The vote of thanks was presented by Neha Thakur. The gala show came to an end with the presentation of National Anthem.
