SVMM Charitable Hospital announces installation of MRI, CT Scan machines

JAMMU, Nov 22: Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission (SVMM) Charitable Hospital located at Amphalla (Jammu) has announced the forthcoming installation of two state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging machines that will significantly improve healthcare services in the region.
The Magnetom Free Star 0.55 Tesla MRI Machine and the Siemens 96-Slice CT Scan Machine are set to become operational soon, marking a major step forward in providing high-quality diagnostic services at accessible prices.
This announcement was made during a press conference led by Dr Subash Gupta (chief patron of the Hospital) and attended by several members, including Amar Chand Gupta (senior vice president), B B Gupta (general secretary), B S Jamwal (secretary), Mohan Singh Chouhan (treasurer), Subash Gupta (member), Dr Sachin Gupta (member), Dr Romesh Gupta (administrator) and Iqbal Deep Singh (manager).
Dr Subash Gupta emphasized that the introduction of these advanced diagnostic tools will greatly enhance the hospital’s ability to meet the growing healthcare needs of Jammu and its surrounding areas.
Alongside the upcoming MRI and CT scan machines, SVMM Charitable Hospital already offers a wide range of essential services, including Digital Radiography for accurate imaging, a fully computerized laboratory with a Hormonal Assay Machine, ECG services, and Ultrasonography with Color Doppler. Echo services for cardiovascular care are also available, with TMT and Holter Monitoring facilities expected to be introduced soon.
The Hospital provides comprehensive eye care with advanced technologies like C3R, Pentacam, OCT, YAG Laser, and Phaco, in addition to Laparoscopic Surgery, general surgery, and orthopaedic surgery. It also offers specialized treatments such as Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) for venous system disorders, Dialysis, and critical care through its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for critically ill patients.
