Swachhata-Hi-Seva campaign : Railway Minister to inaugurate ’14-Minute Miracle’ scheme on Oct 1

HYDERABAD, Sep 30 : Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will formally inaugurate the ”14-Minute Miracle” scheme at the Delhi Cantt Railway Station on Sunday.
The Ministry of Railways has taken another significant step to further enhance passenger amenities on Vande-Bharat Trains.
Vande-Bharat trains are renowned for their indigenization and cutting-edge passenger facilities, offering a swift, comfortable, and highly convenient travel experience, a South Central Railway (SCR) release said here today.
These trains will now be covered under the “14-Minutes Miracle” scheme, scheduled for launch on October 1 at Terminal Stations across the Indian Railways as part of the Swachhata-Hi-Seva campaign.
The “14-Minutes Miracle” exercise will take place at Vijayawada and Tirupati Railway stations for the Chennai?Vijayawada and Secunderabad?Tirupati Vande Bharat Express trains, respectively, as part of the Swachhata hi sewa program.
The Ministry of Railways has planned a massive cleanliness drive led by volunteers on October 1 at 10:00 hours, with participants contributing at least one hour of “Shramdaan” as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
Approximately 22,000 events have been planned across all Indian Railways for this extensive cleanliness initiative, the release added. (UNI0
