Swami Ramdev announces ‘five revolutions’ on Patanjali’s 30th anniversary

HARIDWAR, Jan 5: On the 30th anniversary of Patanjali, Swami Ramdev, the chairman of the Patanjali Yogapeeth, and Acharya Balkrishna, unveiled a vision aimed at transforming the world through five major revolutions.
As per a statement, these revolutions target the key sectors of education, healthcare, economy, culture, and lifestyle.
It said the goal is a combine India’s ancient traditions with modern global systems to create a balanced, holistic framework that addresses the challenges of the present and future.
One of the key components of this vision is the Educational Revolution, which focuses on the establishment of universities and schools that integrate Indian philosophy with contemporary education methods.
Swami Ramdev announced plans to incorporate Vedic teachings into the global education system, ensuring that students around the world have access to a blend of traditional wisdom and modern knowledge.
In the Healthcare Revolution, Swami Ramdev highlighted Patanjali’s ongoing commitment to providing affordable and accessible healthcare solutions, leveraging research and innovation in natural medicine.
“With the growing global recognition of Ayurveda, Patanjali aims to make these ancient practices a cornerstone of health and wellness worldwide,” said Swami Ramdev.
According to him, the Economic Revolution is focused on fostering self-reliance and reducing dependency on foreign imports.
“Through the promotion of the swadeshi movement, Patanjali has created thousands of jobs and now offers over 5,000 products made in India. By encouraging people to support locally made goods, Patanjali hopes to strengthen the nation’s economy and empower communities across the country,” he said.
The Cultural and Social Revolution, according to him, aimed to tackle various societal issues, such as drug abuse and the erosion of moral values.
Patanjali plans to spread awareness about India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage, encouraging people to adopt more meaningful and positive lifestyles, he said.
Lastly, the Fifth Revolution seeks to address unhealthy lifestyle choices by promoting a shift towards better habits.
