JAMMU, Mar 6: Swami Vivekanand Youth Club registered emphatic win against NGM Miran Sahib in Tug-of-War summit clash and clinched the title trophy in the ongoing JKS Range level Sports Festival, organized by Range Police Headquarters Jammu (under CAP) at Police Gulshan Ground, here today.
The JKS Range Sports festival is being organized under the overall supervision of Rafiq-Ul-Hasan, DIG Jammu, SSP Pawan Parihar SO to DIG Jammu is the In-charge Organizing Committee, while Rajesh Gill, Chief Prosecuting Officer and Member Sports Council Jammu is the Coordinator of the sports festival .
Earlier, in the Tug of War final match Swami Vivekanand Youth Club beat NGM Miran Sahib by 2-1 and remained winner in the event whereas Dogra Higher Secondary School was declared as 2nd runners-up.
In 100 mtrs, Sahil Sharma of Govt. Higher Secondary School was declared first whereas Gourav Singh and Davinder Singh of Shishu Nitekatan of HS Samba were declared as second and third.
In 200 mtrs, Randeer Singh and Chander Malotra of Govt Boys HS School Gandhi Nagar were declared as first and second whereas Bharat Bhushan of Swami Vivekanand Youth Club Kathua was declared as third.
In Shot Put, Mohd Azam of Govt HSS Channi and Bharat Jalotra of Govt HS school won first and second position respectively, while Mohd Kaif of Govt HSS Ban Sultan claimed third position.
The officials of these events were Chamel Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Narinder Pal Sharma and Ravinder Singh.
The Prize distribution function of all the events will be held tomorrow at Gulshan Ground Jammu at 9.30 am.Jammu will be the chief guest.
