JAMMU, Oct 31: A delegation of Swaran Vihar Residents Welfare Association led by its president, S N Raina called on Chief Engineer, PWD Jammu and SE Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED) Jammu and discussed the problems of the colony with them.
The delegation urged the Chief Engineer R&B that the macadamization of roads be started in the area which are in dilapidated condition. It urged the SE UEED to that the macadmization of lanes and construction of nullah in the area be taken up in hand immediately as the residents are facing hardships due to bad condition of lanes and filth as well as sewerage water which gets stacked in nullah in the area causing health hazards to the people.
The other members of delegation included D N Thaploo and Kuldeep Raina, vice presidents of the Association and Mr Gadroo its general secretary.
