JAMMU, Sept 18: Residents of Swaran Vihar Sector 2 adjoining Durga Nagar (Jammu) have urged the Jammu Municipal Corporation to construct lanes and drains in the area, which they alleged, sans proper drainage system.
There is no scope for flushing out the waste water and other things due to non-availability of proper drainage system, they added.
“Apart from it, we have been facing acute voltage fluctuation problem for last more than a year. It is not possible for us to use any electric gadgets properly during summer months”, they said, adding that a transformer for the said area has already been sanctioned by the PDD.
Though the matter was brought into notice of the concerned authorities many times, yet no action was taken to solve our grievances, they said.
