SRINAGAR, July 4: Ambassador of Switzerland in India Dr. Linus Von Castelmur called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and discussed various matters of mutual interest with him.
Matters pertaining to new tourism development initiatives put in place by the State Government to rope in high end tourists from across the globe also came up for discussion in the meeting.
The Chief Minister apprised the visiting diplomat about the huge tourist potential of Jammu and Kashmir and its diversity in the three different regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Matters relating to general development of the State and welfare of the people also came up in the meeting.
