JAMMU, June 14: Door to Door awareness regarding Solid Waste Management has been undertaken by the members of SWM team of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at Langer Deeli, Channi here.
Romit Kumar, Volunteer, Solid Waste Management told people how to prepare compost from organic waste of the homes. People carefully listened and determined to take up such fruitful case in homes as well as surrounding people were shown container of blue and green colour to collect organic and inorganic waste of their home in separate manner.
These initiative are taken by the team of JMC to change the behavior of the people.
Dr Zaffar Iqbal, Nodal Officer, SWM JMC appealed to the people to go for home composting and for that any technical guidance if required JMC is ready to help them.
