SWWA deputation meets Animal Husbandry Secy

JAMMU, Dec 15: A deputation of All J&K Sheep and Wool Workers Association (SWWA) today met Secretary, Animal/Sheep Husbandry Department, Jammu, and presented a charter of demands.
The deputation was led by Gulzar Ahmed Rather and Ashok Badyal, presidents of the association for Kashmir and Jammu provinces, respectively.
In the charter of demands, the deputation enlisted various problems being faced by the employees of Sheep Husbandry Department, such as cadre review of ASM, 2 ½ days extra pay for the employees working round the clock in the department, promotion of all departmental trained ASMs as Stock Assistants against already vacant posts, stoppage of undue recoveries from the staff, three years period for the next promotion instead of five years, etc.
The Secretary gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured for an early redressal of genuine grievances of the employees of the department.
Banarsi Lal, Bashir Ahmed, Abdul Razaq Shah, Tilak Raj, Showkat Ali and Muzaffar Nabi were also part of the deputation.
