JAMMU, Sept 20: Government Girls High School, Kachi Chowni in collaboration with NRHM organized a symposium on “Save the Girl Child”.
On the occasion, MLA East Ashok Khajuria was the chief guest, while Chief Education Officer (CEO) was the guest of honour.
In the symposium, Vanika Bhagat emerged first, while Akanksha Sharma and Kathala Devi secured second and third positions respectively.
Cash prizes of Rs 2,500, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,500 were awarded to first, second and third position holders by MLA and CEO.
Shivangi, Hem Kumari and Alisha bagged consolation prizes of Rs 500 each.
In the end, Head of the institution, Suneeta Gupta presented vote of thanks.
