JAMMU, Mar 6: The members of Shri Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti (SYVSS) today expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of Bapu Asaram and demanded suitable treatment for him.
The demand was raised by the women followers of Sant Shri Asaram Bapu while addressing a press conference held here today.
Addressing the conference, the followers demanded the release of the saint facing imprisonment allegedly on rape charges as his health is deteriorating with every passing day.
They alleged that Asharam Bapu has been deprived of proper treatment which is violation of his human and constitutional right.
The members of SYVSS and many Hindu organizations demanded that the Government should provide relief to Bapu to have medical treatment as per his wish as soon as possible as the health of 86 year old saint languishing in Jodhpur Jail allegedly under false charges is very critical.
Many other followers of Bapu said that the saint has devoted his entire life for the welfare of society and he should be provided relief for getting proper treatment.
