JAMMU, Jan 3: T.R Gupta Public Charitable Trust today provided ration and other such items to victims of fire incident in a locality here.
T.R Gupta, the Trust chairman along with his team of Trustees visited Bagharh Mandi in Trikuta Nagar Extension which was engulfed in devastating fire on December 26 last year, leaving 40 families, totally dependent on the burnt shops, jobless and almost at the brink of starvation.
Gupta expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with victims of inferno and distributed 55 kg ration kit to each fire victim family. The kits contained flour, rice, oil, pulses, salt and other useful spices.
Other trustees of the Charitable Trust present on the occasion were K.B Jandial, S.K Sharma, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Rajender Motial, Yashpal Gupta, Kailash Langer, Ajay Sabharbal and Naresh Gupta.
Yashpal Gupta, Trustee, briefed the gathering about the purpose and aims of the Trust, founded by T.R Gupta for practically providing solace to the suffering people.
