JAMMU, Jan 22: To alleviate the ongoing winter related hardships of underprivileged, T.R Gupta Public Charitable Trust along with Councillor, Ajay Gupta of Ward Number 52 here today distributed blankets, sweaters and caps among the needy people in Bharat Mata Park at Trikuta Nagar.
People appreciated the efforts made by the Trust and the Councillor as the beneficiaries were in dire need of blankets and winter clothes to safeguard themselves from harsh weather.
Ajay Gupta thanked the Chairman of T.R Gupta Public Charitable Trust for their efforts to support deprived section of the society and said that the Trust has always helped the needy people.
The Trust has also started a dispensary at Marble Market in Trikuta Nagar for the needy people where free of cost medicines and free of cost check-up by reputed doctors is provided.
Trustees of the Trust who were present on the occasion were Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Kailash Langer, K.B Jindal, Yash Pal Gupta, Ajay Sawarhwal and others.
