The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again brought terrorism in focus by raising it at SAARC nations Summit held at Kathmandu. No wortwhile development can take place in the sub-continent if it (region) remains infested with terrorism. Take the State of Jammu and Kashmir. It suffered terribly during last 25 years. Development came to a standstill. Almost every sphere of life whether education, health, Industry suffered terribly. It is only after militancy came down to an extent that development attached importance.
The SAARC countries should explore all means to wipe out terrorism from the region, in case they have to bring out people from poverty, ignorance and backwardness.
India has promised a number of measures to overcome many problems faced by the countries, so should other countries. The mutual cooperation will be an important factor in the over all development of the sub-continent.
