DODA, June 26: A tailor allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab on Ghat road, here today.
As per police sources, a man identified as Hoshyar Singh, a resident of Khellani, District Doda allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab on Ghat road here. The victim was a tailor by profession.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and fished out the body from the river.
The body of the deceased was shifted to District Hospital for autopsy.
Doda police has taken cognizance in this regard.
