SRINAGAR, Aug 10: Minister for Medical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din today visited the residences of the persons who lost their precious lives in a tragic road accident at Barnate Boniyar yesterday in Uri to convey the condolence to the bereaved families.
The Minister expressed solidarity and sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
The Minister handed over cheques worth Rs 1 lakh each to the next of kins of deceased from Government side.
The Minister ordered immediate repair of Boniyar- Botangi Barnate road.
Later, the Minister also visited the residence of died persons and attended the funeral whose dead body was brought from Srinagar today. The deceased was injured in yesterday’s accident and succumbed to injuries at Srinagar.
Among others, the officers of District Administration also accompanied the Minister.
