JAMMU, Jan 29: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Welfare Society (VKWS) organized a function here.
On the occasion, Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education (DSE) was the chief guest.
Rashmi (Ruby) Sharma, Working President of the Society presented the welcome address.
Members of the society and other guests were also present on the occasion.
Children of Sarvodya Vidyalaya and Rajiv Nagar School participated in the function and presented mesmerizing cultural programmes.
While speaking, Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education informed about some of the schemes available with the Government for welfare of children, who belongs to economically weaker section of the society. She also asked the gathering to take benefit of these schemes.
Later, Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education presented certificate of participation among the participants.
In the end, Chandra Gupta, Secretary of the Society presented vote of thanks.
Sukriti Choudhary, Joint Secretary, Kailash Gupta, Vice President, Neeta Mehta, Principal Yogita Bakshi and Vandana were also present on the occasion.
