Take measures to stop Kashmir unrest: Rana

MENDHAR, Apr 16: Senior National Conference leader and Member Legislative Assembly Mendhar, Javed Rana today called for strict action against all those persons who are guilty in fresh killings in Kashmir along with immediate measures to check Kashmir unrest.
Addressing  a largely attended youth convention at Harmutta area of Mendhar,  Mr Rana said that fresh killings in Kashmir are highly unfortunate as five human lives have lost so far.
“Government should undertake all the measures to stop Kashmir unrest so that situation improves and action should also be taken against those who are behind these killings”, Mr Rana said.
He also pressed for the demand of constituting a high profile inquiry commission to probe the whole matter.
Meanwhile, expressing serious concern over the dilapidated road conditions in the area, the MLA said that most of the roads of the area, especially under PMGSY and NABARD, are in too poor condition risking peoples’ life and need immediate repair and betterment.
While mitigating some burning issues raised by general public the  MLA announced three new power transformers, one each in Harooni, Dooma and Harmutta, which will prove vital in bringing to an end the power crisis of the area. He also announced to construct three water tanks in the above mentioned areas.
Earlier,   leaders of the area  including Haji Rashid, Sarpanch Shoukat Ahmed, Sarpanch Aftab Ahmed,  Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shabir Assi, Zaffar Chowdhary, Mohammad Sageer, Javed Iqbal and others raised the burning issues of the area.
