JAMMU, MAY 27: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir unit is all set to embark on a massive outreach programme under the ‘Maha Jansampark Abhiyaan’ covering all Lok Sabha constituencies in the Union Territory and reaching as many homes as possible with the message of Government achievements to mark nine years of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s rule.
This was stated by Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP vice president and Pradesh Seh Prabhari, Maha Jansampark Abhiyaan while addressing a meeting of senior party leaders here today. In the meeting, Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister, Sat Sharma, former Minister, Priya Sethi, National Executive Member BJP and former Minister, Harinder Gupta, convener Jammu Reasi Parliamentary constituency, Pawan Dev Singh, Inderjeet organization secretary, Jammu Reasi Parliamentary constituency, Vikas Choudhary State secretary, Parmodh Kapahi district president and Kulbir Charak, general secretary, district South were present.
Yudhvir Sethi said that the month-long outreach called “Maha Jansampark Abhiyaan” will commence from May 30, the day Modi Government completes nine years in office, until June 30. He said that the main objectives of the plan, as identified by the BJP, are to “take the message of Government achievements to every citizen and ensure the readiness of party organisation”. He said that the month-long campaign shall comprise of intellectual meet, interaction with beneficiaries of Central Welfare Schemes, observation of Dr Syama Parsad Mukerjee’s Balidan Diwas on June 23, listening to Mann Ki Baat programme on June 28, celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21, rallies, Samparak Abhiyaan, door to door campaign, etc.
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, stressed on the successful conduct of the events claiming that the same are of immense significance as this will help people to know about the policies, plans and feats that BJP achieved under PM Modi’s stewardship in the last nine years.
Sat Sharma, former Minister, exhorted upon party workers to make people aware about the achievements of Modi Government besides educating them about the variety of schemes launched by the Union Government.
Priya Sethi, in her address, said that the nine years of Modi Government remained momentous and fruitful for the country as many historical steps were taken in these years with the top notched move of abrogation of Article 370, which changed the course of life of people of J&K.
