Tanker driver among 3 held with 1.4 kg charas

JAMMU, Feb 10: Three persons including a tanker driver have been arrested by Domana police along with 1.4 kilograms of cannabis (charas).
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, police team from Domana police station intercepted a tanker bearing registration number NL01R-8168.
During checking, police recovered 1.390 grams of cannabis and arrested three persons including tanker driver.
The accused have been identified as tanker driver Randeep Singh, son of Arjun Singh, a resident of Tragwal, Akhnoor, Goutam Singh, son of late Jaktar Singh and Parshotam Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, both residents of Simbliya Bala, Baba Talab.
A case under FIR number 41/15 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Domana police station and investigations started.
Police team led by SHO Domana police station Inspector Mohammad Qasim made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar, SP Rural Rajive Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
