UDHAMPUR, Nov 5: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Police party from Rehmbal Thana apprehended one drug -peddler and recovered two kg of poppy straw from him.
During a routine naka checking, a police team of PP Tikri stopped one oil tanker bearing registration No. PB11CJ-2259 for checking at Tikri naka point.
During search of said vehicle, two kg of poppy straw was recovered from its driver namely Noor Hussain, son of Mohd Mir of Rajouri. The accused person was arrested and the poppy straw was also seized. A case was registered in this connection.
