JAMMU, Jan 1: The Vigilance squad of CAPD Department, assisted by police traced the kerosene oil tanker which went mysteriously missing for the last two days.
Official sources said that oil tanker bearing registration No. JK02X-5547, belonging to Pee Cee Oil Company was loaded with 12000 Lt of CAPD kerosene oil supply for Jammu localities on Thursday morning. The vehicle did not reach its destination and the CAPD staff started searching for the missing vehicle.
On the directions of Minister for CAPD Ch Zulfkar, the Vigilance & and Enforcement wing of the CAPD, assisted by police traced the vehicle from Chowadi area late this evening. The driver went missing and the vehicle has been seized by the team. How much oil stuff was left in the vehicle, is yet to be ascertained by CAPD staff.
