POONCH, Dec 29: MLA Poonch, Shah Mohammad Tantray who visited his native village Loran after winning the recent Assembly elections, said that he will work honestly and dedicatedly for the upliftment and betterment of down trodden sections of the society, which always remain neglected during last 18 years.
Addressing a largely attended public rally at Loran, Tantray assured them of good and accountable administration in Poonch. He said that he will reach out to every poor and deserving people of his constituency and all public development funds belonging to them shall be utilized honestly, properly and efficiently for their betterment.
He further said that the Government officers and officials should stay available in their respective offices and fields for public to redress their issues instead of moving with MLA. He asserted that the Government employees should feel free and work efficiently without any fear as they had earlier, but their all efforts should be honest and for the betterment of public.
During his address, he also remembered his deceased father Munshi Ghulam Mohammad Tantray, Ch Firoz Din and others, and paid tributes to them with tears in his eyes. He praised their efforts and said that their life shall remain a source of inspiration for him.
He said that his doors and heart is always open for the public irrespective of their political backgrounds and they should join this humanitarian caravan for better and brighter future.
