JAMMU, Oct 2: Senior Communist Party of India (Marxist) Regional Committee ( J&K) has alleged that former MLA and senior party leader from Kashmir, Mohd Yousuf Tarigami has not been allowed by the State Administration to attend Central Committee meeting of the CPI (M) being held in Delhi from October 2 to 4.
Regional Secretary of the Party, Sham Parsad Kesar in a press statement has alleged that Tarigami had applied before the concerned Magistrate well in time to permit him to attend the Central Committee Meeting in New Delhi but the concerned Administration played hide and seek for some days and lately denied permission at last quarter, which is unfortunate.
Kesar alleged that by denying permission to senior leader of the national party to attend the important party meet at the Union capital, the BJP Government is hell bent to muzzle down the democratic rights of the people, who differ with handling of the Kashmir situation. He said the tall claims of the Central Government regarding prevalence of normalcy in the State particularly in Kashmir valley is farce and far from ground realty. He urged upon the Government to release all the political leaders of the State.
