SRINAGAR, May 18: Despite J&K administration’s claims about availability of COVID-19 vaccines, CPI (M) leader, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has said that the ground reality is different as zero vaccination was reportedly recorded in J&K in the last few days due to shortage of doses which is a cause of concern.
In a handout Tarigami said that J&K has been witnessing a big spike in COVID-19 positive cases and deaths and the only way to face it is to get vaccinated. “But reportedly not a single person has been vaccinated in last few days,” he claimed adding that instead of vaccinating more and more people, the administration in J&K has left the hapless people in a lurch which has created a lot of uncertainty,” he maintained.
