JAMMU, Feb 5: Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Raj Kumar Tarkhan along with Neena Gupta, JMC Councillor of Ward number 50 (Channi) here today started construction work of Nallah at Surya Chowk which was the long pending demand of the locals there.
A handout stated that the work will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.3 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Neena Gupta informed that better drinking water supply in the area has been achieved in the area now and assured the people of her Ward that all round development of Channi area is underway with continuous efforts of JMC.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Kamlesh Mangotra, Susheela Gupta, Sanjeeta, Kuldeep Singh, Dr. Ashok Gupta and others.
