Task Force for 24×7 water supply projects reconstituted

JAMMU, Oct 11: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered re-constitution of the Union Territory Level Task Force for continuous interaction with the National Task Force (NFT) for planning, design and implementation of 24×7 water supply projects under the AMRUT 2.0 in the UT.
Headed by Mission Director, AMRUT 2.0 as the Chairman and Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti Department as the Co-Chairperson, the UT Level Task Force shall comprise Chief Engineer UEED, J&K; Professor of Environment Engineering from IIT Jammu/NIT Srinagar; SE Jal Shakti Department from concerned district; Majid Hanief, AEE (Mechanical), PHE Division, Srinagar; Humayun Rashid, retired Scientist-F, Deptt of Ecology, Environment & Remote Sensing (GIS Expert); Vinod Sharma, retired Scientists from the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, GoI and Faizan Malik (PPE Expert of KPMG) as the Members and TO to Chief Engineer Jal Shakti Department Jammu as the Member Secretary.
