Tata mobile plunges into gorge; 2 killed, one seriously injured

RAMBAN, Apr 5: Two persons were killed, while another suffered serious injuries, when the Tata mobile, they were traveling in, skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge near Kashtigarh.
Police spokesman said that, two persons were killed while another suffered injuries when a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK19-1719 on way from Kashtigarh to Chanderkote rolled down into deep gorge near Kashtigarh.
On receiving information police and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation and shifted one of the injured identified as Shamas Din, son of Rustam of Senabhati, Banihal to District Hospital, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advance treatment.
The bodies of the deceased identified as Rajinder Singh, son of Mohan Singh of Rajbagh and Nadir Ahmed, son of Sheri Gujar of Barthud, district Doda., were handed over to family members for last rites after completion of legal formalities.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
