NEW DELHI: Tata Motors today said it has decided to change the proposed name, ZICA, of its soon to be launched hatchback car. The car’s acronym was “ZICA”, derived from “Zippy Car”. The company has taken the decision after the recent outbreak of Zika virus. Tata Motors said it is a socially responsible company and has taken the step as a gesture of empathy with the victims of virus. The new car will be showcased publicly for the first time at the Auto Expo 2016, in Greater Noida from February 3 – 9, 2016. (AGENCIES)
