MUMBAI, May 2: Tata Motors’, country’s largest automobile company, sold 51,160 vehicles in April 2013 (including exports) of
Tata commercial and passenger vehicles.
The company’s domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for April 2013 were 47,595 numbers.
The company’s sales of commercial vehicles in April 2013 in the
domestic market were 36,025 numbers.
Sales of passenger vehicles for April 2013 were at 11,570 numbers. Sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range in April 2013 were
8,918 numbers, a company release said.
The company’s sales from exports were 3,565 vehicles in April 2013.
Tata motors is india’s largest automobile company, with consolidated revenues of Rs. 1,65,654 crores ($ 32.5 billion) in 2011-12.
Through, subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, Spain, South Africa and Indonesia, the release added.
