Tatapani being developed as tourist hub: Vibodh

RAJOURI, June 27:  MLC Vibodh Gupta along with a team of BJP workers, today visited far-flung areas of Brevi and Tatapani in Kalakote, in connection with the celebration of Karya Vistar Yojna where he conducted door to door campaign and threw light on the life and ideology of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya as well as developmental works of the Government.
Highlighting achievements of Modi Government, the BJP MLC  said that in Jammu and Kashmir, the Coalition Government was also  trying its best to provide best facilities to the last man of the area, at the door step in all the sectors like Health, Education, PHE, PDD besides construction of roads and connectivity to the public of far-flung areas and implementation of Centrally sponsored schemes. He asked the Sectoral officers to organize  awareness programmes/ seminars regarding the various schemes, for better implementation and to provide the benefits to general public  so that development can be witnessed everywhere.
Referring to Tatapani, a tourist spot, Gupta said that a project of  Rs  6.00 crore stands prepared and submitted to the Government  for its sanctioning, for the establishment of Artificial lake at Tatapani. He assured the public that shortly the same shall be executed. He also said that a tourist hut has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs  60.00 lakh  at Tatapani and preparation of DPR for the development of water spring at Tatapani is under process. He assured the public that Tatapani shall be developed as tourist hub, which shall also improve living standard of the public due to business opportunities.
Gupta also announced release of Rs  15.00 lakh  under CDS in convergence with MGNREGA, to take up the small developmental activities, at Tatapani.
Terming Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s  political philosophy of Integral Humanism  as the guiding philosophy of BJP,  the MLC  stressed that Modi Government was committed for a self-reliant economy with the village as the base.
