JAMMU, Mar 31: The ongoing three-day long Tawi Sahitya Lok Utsav organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, Jammu concluded here today at Abhinav Theatre.
Suresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary, Department of Culture, graced the concluding day function as chief guest.
In his concluding remarks he said that throughout Utsav, the attendees enjoyed a diverse array of literary interactions, discussions by authors and cultural performances, highlighting talents of the region.

Dogri writer Desh Bandhu, Dogra Nutan, English writer Anil Sehgal, Punjabi writer Harjeet Singh Uppal, Gojri writer Manzoor ul Haq and Hindi writer Dr. Agnishekhar shared their insights and experiences.
Kavi Sammelans in Punjabi and Urdu added a poetic flair to the event.
Additionally, the book interactions led by Sushma Yadav provided attendees with the opportunity to delve into literary works and engage with authors on a deeper level.
The cultural extravaganza featured captivating folk performances, including Dhouns, Thali Dance, Ghuraie by all-women artists, Bhakh, Gujjar & Pahari wedding songs and demonstrations by traditional artisans. Attendees were enthralled by the craftsmanship of makers of grass shoes, spindle spinners, goat hair rope makers, and pottery artisans from Rajouri and Poonch.
A handout stated that Tawi Sahitya Lok Utsav served as a platform for fostering unity in diversity, celebrating the cultural vibrancy of the region and promoting mutual understanding and respect among communities.
