JAMMU, Mar 4: Tawi Welfare Society organised ration distribution camp at Apnavan village Sure Chak in which 100 ration kits (Rice, Flour, Dal, Sugar, Salt etc.) were distributed among the needy families of 24 Villages falling in Tawi Island and it’s adjoining area.
Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu Zone was the chief guest and Sunil Singh, Deputy Director Floriculture Department was the guest of honour. The guests were warmly welcomed by the volunteers of Society. Plants were also planted by the guests at this occasion. They were briefed about the different activities taken by the Society for the downtrodden people by the Society.
The guests in their address appreciated the volunteers of Society for doing such social activities for the needy section of society and assured their full support.
Many other prominent personalities were present at this occasion. Yash Pal Mangotra General Secretary of Society thanks the guests for sparing their valuable time for the function.
