JAMMU, Sept 18: Tawi Welfare Society organized relief distribution function at Apnavan Sure Chak on the occasion of birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which relief comprises of rice, flour, cereals, sugar and a set of utensils were distributed among the 80 needy families.
Gagandeep Singh, a leading entrepreneur and social activist was the chief guest at this occasion who distributed the relief kits among the needy.
Yash Paul Malhotra General Secretary of Society welcomed the guest and briefed him about the various activities undertaken by Society for the downtrodden and underprivileged section of society.
The chief guest who was highly impressed by the work of Society assured his full support in different activities of society in future and thanked for giving him opportunity to be the chief guest of the function.
Nand Kishor Senior Member of Society thanked the guest for sparing his valuable time for the function. He also told that Society was going to organize other programs like plantation drive and cleanliness drive in this fortnight.
